ION - Advanced Technology
Ion by Isoldesign is composed of nanoparticles of silver and ceramic glass, hollow glass microspheres and colloidal silicas, using modified potassium silicate as a binder.
This foaming compound creates a hygroscopic environment thanks to its fine, communicating micro-bubbles. Inside, a patented active ingredient emits negative ions, with an energy of 0.05 mA, which interact with the humidity of the environment and silver nanoparticles, creating ionised water molecules with antibacterial properties. This process makes the surface self-cleaning, removing organic dirt from the walls.

The data in the graph reflect the abatement of formaldehyde concentration after the application of Ion by Isoldesign on panels of various sizes, placed in a volume of 1m3 saturated with a formaldehyde concentration of 15–18 ppm.

Classic anti-mould paints are defined as such because they contain an antibacterial chemical within them, which is harmful to health. Ion by Isoldesign can create a strong antibacterial barrier and prevent the adhesion of all organic particles, sanitising indoor environments. Ionisation makes the air cleaner and purer, while silver replaces normal anti-algae and anti-mould products that are often toxic. Ion by Isoldesign guarantees an effective anti-mould effect without containing any chemical antibacterial agents.

All living things are closely related to anions, their charge lasts only a few moments but plays an important role in life processes.
