Shell: multi-layer sound-absorbing panels for renovations and bio-building
Shell is a multi-layer structural panel designed by Isoldesign that combines acoustic, thermal and mechanical performance in a single solution, ideal for renovations, bio-building and building refurbishment.
Structured in two or three layers, with an extra-thin spruce wood wool inner layer and a structural wood laminate outer layer, Shell wall panels are designed for the construction of walls, ceilings, roofs and flooring.
They ensure structural strength and moisture resistance, fire protection, and thermal and acoustic insulation. They are available in a wide range of aesthetic finishes, colours and edge customisations, including natural, painted or graphic finishes.
Available in standard or XL versions, with thickness up to 97 mm and with high-density mineral wool to maximise thermal and sound-absorbing properties, Shell ensures walkability, anti-slip grip, high traction and strong compression resistance.
At Isoldesign, we have been operating for over 50 years in the field of sound-absorbing solutions and offer design and installation services throughout Italy, Europe, the United Kingdom, North Africa and the United Arab Emirates, with expansion towards the United States and Saudi Arabia markets.

Sectors of application
Shell is designed for building contexts that require load-bearing and insulating solutions in a single panel, such as bio-building, school construction, gyms, sports centres, offices and civil or public buildings.
Its compression resistance, walkability, reaction to fire and optional aesthetic milling make it perfect for architectural refurbishments, interventions on wooden or metal roofs, technical suspended ceilings and structural walls with integrated insulation.
Gallery
In this gallery you can see real applications of the Shell panel in school buildings, gyms and wooden structures. The result? Environments with high acoustic comfort and natural materials that define new architectural aesthetics with structural strength and functionality.
