Egyptian Museum of Turin: sound-absorbing solutions for historical heritage
In the heart of one of Italy’s most visited museums, Isoldesign implemented a sound-absorbing solution that harmoniously integrates into a historical, delicate setting with a strong aesthetic impact.
The installation involved the use of Inn Acoustic Monolithic® panels, renowned for their excellent acoustic performance and their ability to adapt to complex spaces and curved surfaces, such as those of the Egyptian Museum of Turin.
The work focused on curved and articulated vaulted walls and ceilings, demonstrating the remarkable versatility of this modular system. In addition to reverberation control, essential in environments with large volumes and reflective surfaces, the intervention respected the architectural character of the interiors, preserving the elegance of the surfaces with a concealed installation, without visible joints.
An invisible, yet high-performing solution, enhancing the visitor experience without altering the perception of the space.
This project confirms Isoldesign’s ability to bring acoustic technology into cultural spaces through bespoke interventions and great attention to enhancing existing heritage.
